The Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship & Mentorship Program seeks to give individuals who are eligible & meritorious but may lack money to pursue their aspirations the fundamental support they need. Along with providing financial assistance, this scholarship programme will also prioritise providing the recipients with career mentoring and advice as needed.

Who can get this scholarship ?

  • Class 10 board exam must have been passed in 2022.
  • must be enrolled in Class 11 at an Indian school that is recognised
  • A minimum of 75% on the Class 10 board exams is required.
    • Class 12 board exam must have been passed in 2022
    • must have obtained a grade of at least 60% in the Class 12 board exams.
    • must be enrolled in a 3-year degree programme at an Indian institution of higher learning or any recognised professional degree in India, including B.E., B.Tech, BDS, MBBS, and others in 2022.
    • Family income should be no more than INR 5 lakhs per year.

    Benefits/ Amount you will get from this scholarship:


    1. INR 20,000 per annum for 2 years for 10th passed student in 2022
    2. INR 30,000 annually for three years , four years depending on the graduation year 


    Documents required to apply

    • Passport-sized photograph

  • A valid ID must be one of the following: Pan Card, Driving License, Voter ID, or Aadhaar Card.
    • Income documentation can take the form of a certificate of income, a BPL certificate, a food security certificate, or any other document issued by an appropriate government agency.
    • Class 10 or 12 marksheets, or the results of the entrance exam (In case seeking to take admission)
    • Fee receipt, letter of admission, college ID card, and bona fide certificate.
    • a disability certificate in the ground of a physical impairment.


    Meeting the eligibility criteria and applying for the Scholarship Program does not guarantee selection. The process entails various steps for shortlisting and final selection, which may take a few months.
