In 1983, the GATE OR Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering was launched. You may be able to enrolL in post-graduate engineering programmes at IITs, NITs, and other reputable universities by passing this exam, and you should also be able to find engineering jobs at PSUs. It is a three-hour Computer Based Test (CBT). There will be 65 questions. Student will receive one or two marks for each accurate response. For a bad response on an MCQ with one or two marks, 1/3 of the mark will be subtracted. No points are deducted for incorrect responses to NAT or MSQ questions. The test was given from 9 am to 12 pm and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm in two shifts.
